Warranty Policy

Liquidation lots are sold as-is. Direct Pallet Outlet gives no warranty on the condition or working order of any item. We stand behind three things: our right to sell the lot, the lot matching its listing, and your right to return any lot within 30 days.

This policy is part of our Terms of Service. “We”, “us” and “our” mean Direct Pallet Outlet, 7402 Reindeer Trail, San Antonio, TX 78238.

2What “as-is” means

As-is means you accept each lot in the condition in which it is delivered, with all faults, whether or not the faults can be seen. Unless a listing says otherwise, we do not open, test, sort, clean, repair or repackage anything in a lot. As-is describes the goods; it does not take away your 30-day right of return under our Returns & Refund Policy.

The condition grade tells you what to expect from the lot as a whole. It is not a statement about any single item.

GradeWhat the grade tells you about the lotWhat it does not tell you
New / OverstockItems are unused and in original retail packagingThat every item works, or that packaging is unmarked
Shelf PullsItems are unused store stockThat packaging is sealed or intact, or that items are in season
Customer ReturnsItems were returned to the retailer by shoppersThat any item works, is complete or is unused
SalvageItems are expected to be damaged, defective or incompleteThat any item works or can be repaired

3What we stand behind

  • Title. We own each lot or have the right to sell it. You receive it free of any lien or claim by someone else.
  • The lot matches its listing. You receive the lot you ordered. As a whole it matches its listing: the category, the condition grade (Customer Returns if the listing names no grade), the pallet count and any other specific statement the listing makes about the lot. Photos are representative unless the listing states that they show the specific lot. If it is manifested, no more than 5% of the manifested units are missing or different.
  • Your 30-day right of return. You may return any lot within 30 calendar days of delivery or pickup for a refund of the lot price, on the conditions in our Returns & Refund Policy. You pay the return shipping unless it’s an Eligible Claim, and there is no restocking fee. Returns & Refund Policy

If a lot does not match its listing, you have an Eligible Claim under our Returns & Refund Policy. Report it within 7 calendar days of delivery or pickup. The remedies in that policy, including the 30-day right of return, are your only remedies for a lot that does not match its listing.

4What we do not warrant

In particular, we do not warrant that:

  • Any item works, is complete, is unused or is free of defects
  • Any share of a lot is working or sellable
  • Items will sell for their estimated retail value, or at any price, or at a profit
  • Items may be resold on a particular marketplace or meet a brand’s authorization rules
  • Items are within their date code, unless the listing states a date range, or have not been recalled
  • Electronic devices are unlocked, free of a previous owner’s data or able to be activated
  • Items include accessories, manuals, software licenses or original packaging

5Manufacturer warranties

Liquidation merchandise is sold outside manufacturers’ authorized sales channels, and we are not an authorized dealer for any brand. Most manufacturers do not honor their warranty on liquidated, returned or resold goods. Assume that no manufacturer’s warranty applies.

If a manufacturer does honor its warranty on an item, that is between you and the manufacturer. We do not handle manufacturer warranty claims.

6Listings that state a warranty

If a listing expressly states that a lot is tested or carries a specific warranty, the terms stated in that listing apply to that lot in addition to this policy.

Nothing else creates a warranty. Photos, estimated retail values, manifests and statements by our staff describe a lot; they are not promises about the condition or performance of any item.

7No repairs, parts or technical support

We do not repair items, supply missing parts or accessories, or provide technical support, unlocking or activation for any item.

8Authenticity

Our inventory originates from retailers and brands in the United States. We do not knowingly sell counterfeit goods. We do not authenticate individual items, and no listing includes a certificate of authenticity; branded items are sold on the same as-is terms as everything else. If you believe an item in your lot is counterfeit, do not resell it, and contact us.

9Product safety and recalls

You are responsible for inspecting items before you use or resell them. Check items against recall notices at cpsc.gov and fda.gov. Do not resell an item that is recalled, past its date or unsafe. We do not knowingly list recalled products.

10If you resell

Any warranty you give your own customers is yours alone. Do not tell your customers that an item is covered by our warranty or by a manufacturer’s warranty unless you have confirmed that it is. Our 30-day return policy applies to you as our buyer; it does not extend to your customers.

11Limit of our liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for lost profits or for indirect, incidental or consequential losses. Our Terms of Service set out these limits in full.

12Your rights under state law

Some states do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, in consumer purchases. In those states, some of the exclusions above may not apply to you. Where an implied warranty cannot be excluded, it lasts only for the minimum period the law allows.

You may have other rights, which vary from state to state. Nothing in this policy limits a right that cannot be waived by agreement.
