Weather and timing can throw off a delivery, so the receiving-day notes for Lot 44, a general merchandise liquidation pallet of mixed goods sold used and as-is, looks at contingencies: rain, late trucks, short-staffed crews and what to do if something is not right. Freight anywhere in the US is already paid.
Contingency Planning When a General Merchandise Liquidation Pallet Arrives
If it rains
Stretch wrap keeps out light moisture but is not waterproof. Have a tarp ready and move the pallet indoors as soon as it is down. Cardboard that soaks through can damage goods inside and weaken the stack.
If the truck runs late
Freight windows can shift. Keep your phone on, plan a buffer in your day and keep whoever runs your unloading equipment free that day.
If your crew is short
One trained person with a pallet jack can receive a single pallet, but a second person to handle paperwork and photos makes it safer and quicker.
If something looks wrong
Photograph it, write a short note on the delivery receipt, and then follow the reporting steps in the Shipping Policy and the Returns & Refund Policy. Do not discard damaged packaging until the matter is settled.
What Lot 44 Contains
A general merchandise pallet with no prepared list; this is an unmanifested pallet. Roughly 100 to 300 items is the department’s typical range, not a promise. The product mix is unknown before opening.
Condition and Testing
Items are used and are not tested, graded or checked for missing parts. Some may look untouched, many will be worn, and a share may be damaged or not working.
Buyers It Suits
People buying resale inventory by the pallet for bin stores, discount shops, online marketplaces, flea markets and repair benches. Your results depend on your process and are not promised.
Delivery Requirements and Pickup
Delivery is curbside, and a loading dock, forklift or pallet jack makes freight receiving easiest. If you have none, contact the store before ordering, or book local pickup by appointment and review the pickup storage terms in the Shipping Policy.
As-Is Note
The pallet is sold as-is and unmanifested. Returns are handled under the Returns & Refund Policy, and damage reports follow that page and the Shipping Policy.
Contingency Questions
Can I reschedule a delivery?
Contact the store as early as possible if your receiving plans change.
What if the pallet is leaning or partly collapsed?
Photograph it from several angles, note it on the receipt and follow the Shipping Policy reporting steps.
Should I keep the original wrap and packaging?
Hold on to it if there is any damage to report. Otherwise recycle it once the pallet is sorted.
