Lot 50 is a general merchandise liquidation pallet that ships with no item list, so the first job after delivery is labeling and logging what you have. The pallet is mixed goods sold used and as-is, with freight anywhere in the US included, and the bin-and-label method below keeps records in step with physical stock.
Label-First Tracking for a General Merchandise Liquidation Pallet
Spreadsheets are useful, but the record only works if each piece can be matched back to a line. A labeling habit closes that gap.
Code every tote
Give each tote a short code (B1, B2 and so on) and write the lot number on a strip of tape on its side. Every item you drop into a bin gets logged against that bin number.
Use short item codes
A code like 50-B3-07 means Lot 50, bin 3, seventh item. Write it on painter’s tape or a small sticker. When you list or sell an item, that code tells you exactly where it came from and what it cost you as a share of the pallet.
Log three facts per piece
- What it is, in a few words.
- Its visible condition: looks unused, used, damaged, incomplete.
- Its planned outlet: online, bin, booth, parts or discard.
Reconcile monthly
Walk the bins once a month and compare them to the log. Items that are missing from the bins should be marked sold or lost. Anything sitting too long can be moved to a lower-priced outlet.
About the Contents
The goods come from the general merchandise department and arrive unsorted. As an unmanifested pallet, Lot 50 has no prepared list. Around 100 to 300 items is a typical count for a general merchandise pallet, but it is a guide rather than a fixed number.
Condition and Testing Disclosure
Treat every item as used. Units are not tested, graded or checked for completeness, and the lot can include unopened-looking goods alongside worn, damaged or non-working pieces.
Who This Suits
Anyone buying resale inventory by the pallet across several outlets, such as online sellers, bin store operators, flea market vendors and repair resellers, will find labeled stock easier to manage. No outcome is promised.
Freight and Pickup
Freight to any US address is included. It is delivered curbside; a forklift or pallet jack, or a dock, gets it to your bins with least effort. If you have none, ask the store before ordering, or pick up locally by appointment; the Shipping Policy sets out storage terms for pickups.
As-Is Terms
The pallet is sold as-is and unmanifested. Returns are handled under the Returns & Refund Policy, where damage or defect reports also go; shortages fall under the Shipping Policy too.
Tracking Questions
Is labeling every item too slow?
For tiny pieces, label the bag instead of the item. Most buyers find the time pays back when they list and reconcile.
What tape should I use?
Painter’s tape or removable labels come off cleanly and will not damage packaging.
Can I track by bin only, not by item?
Yes, for bin stores that sell at flat rates, bin-level tracking is often enough.
