An iPhone liquidation pallet of mixed handsets, sold used and as-is from our Electronics department, is easier to manage if you keep a simple record of every device from the moment it arrives. Freight anywhere in the US is included in the price. Apple is mentioned only because the stock is described as iPhones; there is no affiliation.
Keeping records for an iPhone liquidation pallet
The device log
One row per handset, with columns for: your label number, model, capacity, color, serial or device ID, power result, activation lock status, carrier status, battery health, cosmetic notes, group (resale, repair, parts), listed date, sold date and how it sold.
Why serials matter
Recording the serial or device ID lets you check lost-and-stolen databases, answer buyer questions and prove which device you shipped if a dispute arises.
Privacy in your records
Log only device details. Do not record or keep any personal information you see on a handset before it is erased.
Track outcomes
Mark each unit’s final result: sold, sold for parts, recycled. Over time this shows what share of a mixed lot ends up resellable for you.
Keep it backed up
A spreadsheet saved to cloud storage or printed weekly is enough for one lot.
What the lot is
A single Electronics pallet lot named iPhone. The department typical count of 20 to 120 items is a guide only. It is not itemized, so models, generations and conditions are unknown in advance.
Condition, data and authenticity
Your log will fill with a wide spread of outcomes, because the handsets are used, as-is stock that runs from fine to cracked, liquid-marked or lifeless. None are checked or reset here, so expect some to carry leftover accounts, personal content or an iCloud or network tie; clearing those comes before any resale and is the buyer’s task. There is no certificate of authenticity.
Who it suits
Phone resellers and repair shops that already track inventory by serial. An untested electronics pallet of mixed iPhones rewards organized sellers, and among bulk lots for resellers it is one of the easiest to audit with a log, since this unmanifested pallet gives you nothing to check against.
Freight
Freight within the US is part of the price. Note the delivery date and shipment details at the top of your log. Delivery is curbside; a dock, forklift or pallet jack makes unloading easiest (contact the store first if you have none), or you can collect by appointment under the Shipping Policy’s holding terms.
Terms
Sold as-is. Phone pallets damaged in transit are reported under the Shipping Policy. Returns are handled under the Returns & Refund Policy.
Record-keeping questions
Where do I find the device ID?
In settings on handsets that boot, or printed on the card tray or the device itself on some models.
Do I need special software?
No. A spreadsheet is enough for a single lot.
How long should I keep records?
Follow your local requirements for business and secondhand goods records.
