When a Shoppers Plus liquidation truckload rolls in, preparation decides whether unloading takes an hour or a whole day. The load is a full truckload from the General Merchandise department, sold used and as-is with freight anywhere in the US included.
Shoppers Plus is part of the name and refers to the stock’s source only; no endorsement is implied.
A Receiving-Day Plan for a Shoppers Plus Liquidation Truckload
A trailer of mixed goods needs people, equipment and floor space lined up in advance:
- Equipment: a forklift or electric pallet jack with a charged battery, and a backup manual jack, ready at the curb.
- Floor plan: mark pallet landing spots with tape so the first ones off do not block the next.
- Crew: at least one equipment operator and one spotter. Wear safety shoes and gloves.
- Paperwork: have your order details handy. Count pallets as they come off and compare against the delivery receipt.
- Photos: photograph the trailer interior when the doors open, then each pallet, especially any that are leaning, crushed or torn.
- Damage notes: write visible damage or any missing pallet on the delivery receipt before signing.
- Staging: leave aisles between pallets so you can start breaking them down without moving everything twice.
Inside the Trailer
Expect several pallets rather than one, and do not count on a fixed number: both pallets and pieces change from one load to another. There is no contents list in advance, so the category mix only becomes clear once you start cutting wrap.
Condition Disclosure
Treat every piece as pre-owned and sold as-is. A share may look factory fresh, while plenty will be scuffed, broken, partial or dead. Items are not tested, and we assign no grades. Any devices can still carry a past owner’s files, and anything with a seal or date code must be confirmed before it is resold.
Typical Buyers
Regional bin store groups, discount chains, wholesalers who split a trailer into smaller general merchandise pallet lots and resellers with racking and staff. This is bulk inventory for resellers who already run a receiving crew.
Freight Arrangements
Shipping anywhere in the US is in the price, and the trailer is delivered curbside under the Shipping Policy. Your receiving plan should name the dock, forklift or pallet jack you will use. If you have none, get in touch before ordering. Pickup appointments are also available, and the Shipping Policy describes storage terms.
Purchase Terms
Bought as-is and unmanifested. The Shipping Policy explains how to report transit damage, shortages or defects, and returns are accepted under the Returns & Refund Policy.
Receiving FAQ
How many pallets should I plan for?
It varies by load, so plan floor space generously.
What should I check before signing?
Pallet count and visible damage, both noted on the receipt.
How long should I allow for unloading?
With a forklift or pallet jack, most of the work is staging; leave several hours so nothing is rushed.
Do I need safety gear?
Safety shoes, gloves and a high-visibility vest for anyone near moving equipment are sensible.
