Lot 49 is a general merchandise liquidation pallet, and the hours right after it arrives decide how smoothly the rest of the job goes. This mixed pallet is sold used and as-is with freight included anywhere in the US. Below is a receiving plan built around a small workspace such as a garage or a single storage unit.
Small-Space Receiving Plan for a General Merchandise Liquidation Pallet
Not everyone has a warehouse. If you are receiving at a business address with unloading equipment and then moving the goods into a compact space, or picking up locally and driving the pallet home, the plan below keeps things manageable.
Before the pallet reaches your space
- Empty a wall of shelving and label shelves by purpose: to sort, to clean, to list, to sell, parts.
- Keep the floor clear so the pallet or its contents can be set down in one spot.
- Put a trash can and a recycling bin near the door for wrap, cardboard and packaging.
Breaking it down
- Remove the wrap a section at a time rather than all at once, so stacked goods do not slide.
- Carry items straight to the “to sort” shelf instead of spreading them on the floor.
- Flatten boxes as you go; empty cardboard fills a small room quickly.
End of day one
Aim to have the pallet base empty and every piece on a shelf. Sorting into finer groups can wait for day two.
What Is on Lot 49
Mixed merchandise lots from the general department, not itemized ahead of time. A count around 100 to 300 items is typical, and your load may differ.
Condition
All items are used. No testing, grading or completeness checks are done. Expect pieces that seem untouched, others that are worn, and some that are damaged or not working.
Good Fits
Home-based marketplace sellers, small bin stores, weekend market vendors and repair resellers often work from compact spaces. Pallets for bin stores and a wholesale liquidation pallet like this fit them when the space plan is in place. Results are never promised.
Freight, Docks and Pickup
Freight anywhere in the US is included, and delivery is curbside. A loading dock, forklift or pallet jack makes unloading easiest. If your space has none of those, contact the store before ordering; local pickup by appointment is the alternative, with pickup storage terms listed in the Shipping Policy.
Terms and Policies
Sold as-is and unmanifested. Returns are handled under the Returns & Refund Policy, and reports of transit damage or shortage follow that page and the Shipping Policy.
Small-Space Questions
Will one pallet fit in a single-car garage?
Usually, yes, but plan for the contents and empty packaging to take more room than the pallet itself.
Can I collect it in a pickup truck?
Local pickup is by appointment. Contact the store first to make sure your vehicle and loading plan suit the pallet.
What do I do with the empty pallet base?
Many buyers reuse it for storage, give it away or take it to a pallet recycler.
